A GREYISH-WHITE JADE 'HORSE AND FOAL' GROUP
18TH CENTURY
The horse is carved seated next to its young with its head turned back over its body, front legs tucked underneath and one hoofed leg touching its muzzle. Their manes and tails are finely detailed and the pale greyish-white stone has russet inclusions.
2¾ in. (7 cm.) long, wood stand
