A PAIR OF SIGNED AND DATED CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL ALTAR STEM DISHES
QIANLONG MARKS AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-95)
Each dish is decorated to the interior with a stylised flowerhead surrounded by four scrolling lotuses and foliage below a ruyi head border, the exterior embellished with registers of banded decoration, the detachable splayed feet with pendant lappets enclosing archaistic scrolls, the bases each inscribed with a dedication, dated Qianlong renzi, 1792, signed Ming Bao gong zhi.
