A LARGE PARCEL-GILT PUMPKIN-FORM TRIPOD CENSER AND COVER
MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)
The vessel has twin upright handles and rests on three supports with monster-head terminals. Two sinuous qilong are cast clambering on each side. The cover is pierced with three cash medallions and has a finial cast in the form of three leafy stems surmounted by a tree shrew.
