The armour with thirty-two plate russet iron sujibachi [ridged helmet bowl] with three gilt shinodare [arrow-shaped decorative components] to the front, and two to the rear, four-tiered gilt hachimanza [seating at the aperture of the crown], gilt kuwagata dai [stylized horn fixture] with chrysanthemums, gilt kuwagata, maedate of gilt ken [Buddhist double-edged sword], three-tiered shikoro [neck guard], the fukigaeshi [turn-back] with leather-clad section bearing gilt mon, red-lacquered menpo [lower face mask] with four-tier yodare-kake [bib], the cuirass with rows of lacquered iron kozane with close lacing, iron munaita [top section], kusazuri [skirt] of seven tassets each of five tiers, sode [shoulder guards] of five tiers, all lacquered saneita with close green lacing, Etchu haidate [thigh protector], seven-splint shino suneate [lower leg protectors], with lacquered armour box
