Circular, the centre painted with officers from the Life Guard First Artillery Brigade, one officer saluting, two at ease with further figures, horses and lake in the background, within a gilt rim, impressed and gilt ciselé with a ribbon-tied wreath of laurel and oak leaves converging on the Imperial arms, inscribed on the reverse in Russian 'Life Guard First Artillery Brigade after the paint[ing] by Balashov [copied by] A. Mironov. 1880 [yr.]', marked under base with underglaze green factory mark
