With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1945 and its subsequent sale on September 2nd of the following year.

To the best of our knowledge this watch has never before been offered in public.

Reference 1450, also known as Top Hat, was in production from 1940 until the 1960s. The model is illustrated in Patek Philippe Wristwatches by M. Huber & A. Banbery, 2nd edition p. 137, pl. 196
