Cal. 27-70Q mechanical movement, stamped with the Geneva Seal, 28 jewels, silvered matte dial, applied white gold Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions, two apertures for day and month in English, three subsidiary dials for 30 minute register combined with leap year indication, date combined with phases of the moon, and constant seconds combined with 24 hour indication, circular water-resistant-type case, stepped bezel and lugs, split-seconds chronograph mechanism activated through two round chronograph buttons in the band and through the crown, sapphire crystal display screw back, platinum Patek Philippe deployant clasp, case, dial, and movement signed

Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1996 and its subsequent sale on February 21st of the same year.

Further accompanied by a Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin dated July 1st, 1996, Patek Philippe veneered presentation box, product literature, leather portfolio, and outer packaging.

Production of the reference 5004 was launched in 1994 and produced until 2009 in yellow, white, and pink gold, and platinum. The platinum reference 5004 is commonly seen with a black dial and either diamond hour markers or applied baton hour markers; more rarely with a silvered dial, such as the present example.
