A 19th Century-style mourning dress designed by Walter Plunkett, in figured black fabric, with high collar and long fitted sleeves, smocked bodice and ruffled hemline, together with corresponding black petticoat, made for Katherine Hepburn as Clara Wieck Schumann in the 1947 M.G.M. production Song Of Love; accompanied by a black and white still of Katherine Hepburn wearing the dress; and a book of sheet music Souvenir Album, Popular Piano Classics from the M.G.M picture Song Of Love, 1947 (4)
