With double-edged fullered blade of flattened hexagonal section with etched inscription on each side within the fuller, oblong ricasso with rubbed 'maker's mark' on each side, iron guard of flattened bars comprising grooved quillon-block, downcurved rear-quillon, short knuckle-guard, and upper and lower side-rings each with turned central moulding, inner-guard of slender bars, wire-bound grip with Turk's heads, and flattened barrel-shaped pommel
