With long slender blade of flattened diamond section with indistinct signature within a fuller on each face at the forte, hollow-ground ricasso of rectangular section, iron hilt comprising guard formed of rounded bars with prominent turned baluster mouldings to the outer side, knuckle-guard and long straight quillons each with turned bulbous finial en suite with the baluster mouldings, these mouldings each with traces of original etched decoration, grooved quillon-block, later wire-bound grip with Turk's heads, and faceted globular pommel
