With rebrowned octagonal to round barrels inlaid with a fox, a hound, two rabbits and a signature respectively in silver on the left barrel and gold on the right barrel, silver fore-sight inlaid with a silver-inlaid sunburst interspersed with gold-inlaid lightning flashes, the standing breech and signed locks each finely chiselled in low relief with blued foliage against a gilt ground, figured walnut half-stock with raised cheek-piece, chequered grip and fore-end, parcel-gilt silver mounts including scrolled trigger-guard finely engraved with a figure of Diana, blued iron sling mounts, and original horn-tipped ramrod
