Each painted overall with flowering branches, peonies and scrolling foliage set within cartouches, the circular domed cover with silver fruiting finial, the silver-mounted foot and rim each with milled border, each marked on the rim of the cover with the décharge of Jacques Cottin and Louis Gervais, the rim and foot each marked indistinctly, the finials marked on one leaf
