A CELADON GREEN AND RUSSET JADE FIGURE OF A HORSE
17TH/18TH CENTURY
The horse is carved in a recumbent position with the head turned back. The head is detailed with ears laid back either side of a long, finely incised mane that falls on either side of the neck. The smoothly polished stone is of celadon-green color with areas of russet color to the mane and forelegs.
