Persian manuscript on paper, 66ff. as numbered plus 4 fly-leaves, each folio with 17ll. of fine black nasta'liq often arranged in two columns, a further line of text written diagonally with gold and polychrome illuminated triangular panels above and below, occasional words in red, illuminated intercolumnar divisions, laid down on orange, green and gold margins between black rules, blue outer rule, opening folio with gold and polychrome illuminated heading, the opening bifolio with gold and floral clouds around the text, final folio with later added illuminated panel, three contemporaneous illustrations on ff.7v., 17v. and 39v., each facing folio with gold clouds around the text, later red morocco binding with gold stamped medallion and spandrels
