CIRCA 5TH CENTURY B.C.
The tondo decorated with an equestrian figure, the youthful rider naked but for a chlamys draped over his left shoulder and flying out behind, right arm raised holding a spear, his horse galloping to the right, hanging fillet and stylized rosette in the field, together with two Etruscan letters 'HE', perhaps representing the name of the rider, the whole within a band of chevrons, the exterior with band of laurel, the underside of the foot with two concentric bands
