TRANSLATION OF THE INSCRIPTION:
1.In the morning my pillow and stone bed are shadowed by lofty hills,
At night my home's windows and trees are shrouded by thick mist.

2.Smoke and fire are around where the southern people live,
Water and clouds are deep in Wuling town.

3.Clouds and trees, far and high, are reaching heaven,
Mountains, together, are travelling down the Min rivers.

4.An old tree leans on a cottage in the evening,
Sounds of a cold stream accompany a traveller in the autumn.

5.A flock of wild geese sweeps past a pond,
A man walks under a tall pine tree.

6.Beside the well from which Gehong got water for creating elixirs,
Several trees want to become dragons by absorbing the water.

7.All apricot flowers having fallen, all visitors having left,
In solitude, I look up only to see Guifeng Mountain.
Painted on a day in winter in bingxu year (1706), Dadizi Azhang.
