QIANLONG INCISED AND GILT SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
The box and cover are well-potted in an almond-shape with foliate rims. The cover is decorated on the centre with an iron-red medallion comprising four ji characters in gilt, enclosed by a famille rose lotus meander and a border of conjoining ruyi-heads and bats at rim, reserved on a light yellow enamel ground. The sides of the box and the cover are decorated with a border of floral motifs outlined in gilt, against a turquoise enamel ground, which also covers the interior and the base.
