Lot Essay

Flint's Lisping Goddess, a Figurehead Fantasy was illustrated with twenty-six pencil drawings and two watercolours. Only two hundred and seventy-five copies were printed and the book was a tribute to the ship figureheads in the Sidney Cumber Collection on the Cutty Sark ship at Greenwich.
