With tapering double-edged triple-fullered blade struck with stars at the ricasso and signed within the central on each face, one side reading ‘IN CONARMA’, characteristic iron basket-guard of flattened bars, some with silver-inlaid ornament, short horizontally recurved rear-quillon, original wooden grip bound with wire, and later brass shield-shaped pommel
