THE SUGAR URN MARK OF EBENEZER MOULTON, BOSTON, CIRCA 1790
In the Neo-Classical style, the sugar urn baluster form on a square foot, the body engraved with husk garlands, ribbons and a cartouche on each side, one cartouche engraved with monogram BF, the cover with flame finial, the cream jug vase form on a square base, with beaded foot and rim, the body engraved with a cartouche and the same monogram as on the sugar urn, the sugar urn marked on body and foot, the cream jug apparently unmarked
The sugar urn 10 in. (25.4 cm.) high; 20 oz. 10 dwt. (639 gr.) (2)
