Joseon dynasty (late 19th century)
With plinth and upper arm rest of cloud shape connected by three cylindrical supports and applied with black lacquer, the top surface of one end inlaid in mother-of-pearl with a pair of pheasants in a surround of grain and peonies and on the opposite end with another pair of pheasants, grain and dianthus flowers
10 7/8in. (27.7cm.) high; 9½in. (24.2cm.) long
