A WHITE JADE OVAL PLAQUE MOUNTED AS A TABLE SCREEN
THE PLAQUE 18TH CENTURY
The convex plaque is well carved in relief with a scene depicting a procession of foreign tribute bearers traveling through a mountainous landscape approaching a fortified city, and is set into a rectangular panel of burl veneer within a hard wood frame, raised on a hardwood stand with 'coin'-carved stretcher joining the 'coin'-form end braces
