SIGNED HUSAYN AL-ZAKI AND DATED AH 1202/1787-88 AD, OTTOMAN TURKEY, LATE 18TH-19TH CENTURY The Signs of Benefits, Arabic manuscript on paper, the first in black naskh script, each folio with 9ll. between black-ruled gold frame, with gold roundel verse markers, finely illuminated headpieces, with depictions of Mecca and Medina, catchwords, colophon signed and dated, paper watermarked and countermarked 'EA', in Ottoman stamped and tooled dark brown morocco binding with flap; the second with 13ll. of black naskh script to each folio between red, black and gold frame, with gold and polychrome verse markers, illuminated headpieces, two depictions of Mecca and Medina, in marbled paper covered binding
