Arabic manuscript on paper, 303ff. plus three fly-leaves, each folio with 15ll. of small neat black naskh script, with gold and polychrome roundel verse markers, sura headings in red thuluth script within cartouches, some text arranged in small panels, some words picked out in red throughout, catchwords, marginal illuminated floral medallions, opening bifolio with gold and polychrome illuminated borders, colophon bordered with illuminated panels, signed and dated, on Ottoman paper with no apparent watermark, probably in original brown morocco binding with flap, with stamped decoration
