A BLUE AND WHITE 'CHRYSANTHEMUM' VASE
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The bulbous body and the tall cylindrical ribbed neck are intricately painted in fine lines to depict chrysanthemum flowers surrounded by leafy scrolls, raised on a short flared foot. The base is inscribed with an apocryphal Xuande six-character mark.
