A GREY JADE 'CHILONG' SCROLL WEIGHT
MING DYNASTY, 17TH CENTURY
The weight is of elongated rectangular form and is carved in high relief to the top with a sinuous chilong clasping a lingzhi sprig in its mouth. The stone is of an attractive pale grey tone with lighter mottled inclusions throughout.
