A PALE CELADON JADE 'CHILONG' CUP
MING DYNASTY, 17TH CENTURY
The cup is intricately carved in high relief with six chilong of various sizes clinging to the sides, with their chins and front paws resting on the rim. The stone is of an attractive pale celadon tone with some minor russet and snowy inclusions.
