A WHITE JADE ARCHAISTIC VASE
18TH CENTURY
The vase is of flattened form with tapered sides rising to a waisted neck, applied with mythical beast handles with loose rings. The body is carved with a band of stylised zoomorphic scrolls above archaistic motifs. The stone has some minor russet inclusions.
