Comprising: a lacquered brass mounted mahogany single draw 'Day or Night' telescope by 'Dolland/ London'; a French gilt-mental desk clock and barometer; a white-metal mounted mahogany billiards scorer by 'Stevens & Sons/ London'; three silver mounted match strikes; a Canadian silver mirror mounted stand decorated with maple leaves, inscribed 'PRESENTED TO THE NATIONAL ARTILLERY ASSOCIATION BY LIEUT COLONEL OSWALD COMMANDING CANADIAN ARTILLERY AT SHOEBURYNESS 881/ AND GIVEN BY MARY MARCHIONESS OF LONDONDERRY,/ TO HER SON CHARLES STEWART MARQUESS OF LONDONDERRY JULY 16 894', marked 'J.R.H. AND CO.' 'Montreal'; and a fragment of stone applied with a brass plaque inscribed 'THIS STONE WAS BROUGHT FROM BENEVENTE/ WHERE BRIGADIER GENERAL THE HON'BLE/ SIR CHARLES STEWART,/ DURING THE PENINSULAR WAR, WITH A VERY/ INFERIOR FORCE, CHARGED AND OVERTHREW/ ONE OF THE BEST CORPS OF/ CAVALRY IN THE FRENCH ARMY/ DECR. 30TH 1808/ TAKING GENERAL LE FEVRE PRISONER,/ AND WAS GIVEN BY GENERAL HALDANE/ COMMANDING TROOPS AT SHORNCLIFFE, TO/ THERESA, WIFE OF CHARLES,/ 6TH MARQUIS OF LONDONDERRY, JUNE 1914'
