The jade boulder is naturalistically modelled as a recumbent horse with all four legs tucked neatly under the body and long tail swept to one side. The mane is finely incised into clusters falling to either side of its neck. Its head is turned backwards. The even white tone of the stone with areas of russet inclusions.
