Lot Essay

Le masque deangle associé aux réjouissances est particulièrement élégant avec des yeux très fendus et souvent un "loup" de kaolin soulignant le regard, la bouche, elle, étant large et sensuelle. Le masque de la collection Blum très classique correspond au style décrit par Fischer et Himmelheber dans Die Kunst Der Dan, qui en reproduisent plusieurs p.41 à 53.
