Decorated manuscript of three works, comprising Tractatus Legis Angliae et Conscientiae Aliorum Miscellaneorum, A Compendium of Heraldry Methodically Displayed, including an ‘Armory of Honour’, a catalogue of the kings and nobility of England and a description of the College of Heralds, and Mathematicall Recreations in Arithmetick, Astronomy, Geometry, Astrology, all 1695, decorated titles and capitals, the heraldic TREATISE ILLUSTRATED WITH APPROXIMATELY 309 BLAZONED COATS OF ARMS, altogether 606 pages, 16mo (85 x 55mm), contemporary black morocco gilt (worn, spine repaired).
