4° (367 x 255mm). Engraved title page, and engraved vignettes. (Occasional light spotting, some leaves lightly browned.) Contemporary tan morocco, the sides centred with the arms of Louis XIV, wide border of fleur-de-lys, spine lettered directly in gilt and tooled in compartments centred with fleur-de-lys, gilt edges (spine and edges evenly darkened, light soiling, light scuffing). Provenance: Henri Vanden Block (chapellain of St Michel and St Gudule, Brussels; bookplate, collation note and inventory number dated 1791) -- Edward Sawyer (inscription dated March 1853 presenting the book to:) -- H. A. Bright (bookplate).
