A PAIR OF 50-BORE FLINTLOCK TURN-OFF BARREL OVERCOAT PISTOLS
SIGNED TAYLOR & CO., CIRCA 1770
Each with turn-off cannon barrel engraved with foliage at the breech, signed border and scroll engraved rounded lock, figured walnut half-stock inlaid with scrollwork in silver wire around the barrel-tang, and brass mounts including grotesque mask butt-cap and trigger-guard with acorn finial (one fore-end repaired)
