A LARGE INGOT-FORM BRONZE CENSER AND COVER

The censer is cast on the narrow sides with the wufu in flight encircling a stylized shou character roundel, on the long, concave sides with a composite character composed of four characters, zhao cai jin bao ('attract wealth and treasures'), and is raised on a flared foot of conforming shape cast in openwork with ruyi-heads. The elaborate cover is cast in openwork with the bajixiang amidst scrolling clouds below the finial cast as a quadrilobed bowl filled with babao.
