A GOLD-SPLASHED BRONZE TRIPOD CENSER
18TH CENTURY
The heavily cast, compressed globular body is raised on three conical supports and flanked by a pair of loop handles. The exterior is splashed in gold in contrast to the attractive golden-russet patina. A two-character mark, qing wan ('pure plaything') is inlaid in silver wire on the underside.
