A WHITE AND RUSSET JADE THUMB RING
18TH CENTURY
The ring is carved with four quadrangular cartouches encircling four characters, ba zheng mao nian ('treasure of concern over phenomenon at eighty'), set against a ground of archaistic scroll. The stone is of white color with some beige and russet inclusions.
