A PAIR OF AGATE BOWLS AND STANDS
QING DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY
Each bowl is finely carved with chrysanthemum petals rising from the concave foot to the incurved, scalloped rim, between chrysanthemum-bud handles suspending loose rings. Each is supported on a separate tripod ring-form stand carved with matching petals. The stone is a translucent pale amber-brown color with characteristic amber and milky-white markings.
4 5/8 in. (11.8 cm.) diam.
