The gadrooned gourd shaped body with polychrome painted decoration depicting various Hindu deities and epic figures including Krishna, Sita and Rama, the inlaid decoration consisting of a continuous foliated scroll between two registers of palmettes and recurring stylised quatrefoils carved from the foot to the neck, the pegbox with three wooden pegs, on stand
