Persian manuscript on paper, 100f. plus four fly-leaves, each folio with 19ll. of black nasta’liq script arranged in two columns with double black-ruled gold divisions, title cartouches with red nasta’liq script, text within polychrome and gold rules, opening folio with fine illuminated headpiece in gold and polychrome, colophon dated, with two Qajar grisaille illustrations of mythical beasts, in 17th or 18th century stamped brown morocco binding
