Probably a cenotaph cover, in the form of a stepped pyramid, each register embroidered with calligraphic inscriptions in maghribi script from Qur'an II (sura al-baqara), v.255 (the Throne Verse), each line with roundel at each end, mounted in Perspex frame
23 ½ x 30 ½in. (59 x 77.5cm.)
