CIRCA 1790, IRON-RED STENCILLED CROWNED M MARKS
Comprising: a D-shaped bough-pot and liner and two flanking square-section orange-tubs, each decorated with the crowned initial R formed from flower garlands, within gilt rims
The larger bough-pot 11 ¼ in. (28.5 cm.) wide
The pair of orange-tubs 6 in. (15.2 cm.) high
Provenance
Described as being since the early 19th century in the Grand Salon of Château d’Hauteville
