The kettle pyriform, the body chased with rocaille, flowers, and a landscape with animals, centering two rococo cartouches, one engraved with a coat-of-arms, the other engraved with a crest, the spout with shells, scrolls, and lion's-mask join, the hinged cover with putto finial and overhead handle, the openwork stand on three scroll legs, with shell and floral garlands between, with central circular burner and cover, the burner engraved with a crest, marked under kettle base and under cover, the base and burner cover apparently unmarked
