Grahams Stone Terraces 2011
In original wooden case
Charles Symington made the decision at the start of the harvest to vinify two selective parts of the Quinta dos Malvedos harvest apart, with the aim to bottle them separately. But only if the wine turned out to be special. Coming from two unique vineyard parcels on Malvedos: Port Arthur 1,2ha and Vinha dos Cardenhos 0,6 ha. Only 3,000 individually numbered bottles were made.
Tasting note: Deep dark cherry confit nose, spicy, chocolate, lavender and complex. Pure and intriguing. Complex intensely flavored taste, full sweet, vibrant acidity ending with gorgeous eucalyptus aroma. This is more marked then in the normal Graham blend. A great Port with its own unique character, a terroir Port. Very rare. Last tasted June 2013. EV.
