Tasting note: Already showing well when first tasted in 2013. Refined dark chocolate, plums and violets aroma. Medium sweet, packed in taste. Round tannins in full ripe black fruits, pleasant fine soft n sweet. Great purity of taste. Friendly style, good length. After decades of lighter vintages now a return to the classic Cockburn vintage ports which made their reputation, a great comeback. Only 3,500 cases produced. Last tasted February 2014. E.V.
