Lot Essay

This unique pair of stools was created for use in the bathroom of the Lamouroux apartment, 1955, and are accompanied by the original water-resistant skai upholstery covers specific to that commission. The design of these stools represents a stylistic reduction of the classic Thebes stool, an Antique form that had proved of enduring appeal to the designer.
