FETISH – BILBREW, Gene (1923-1974), STANTON, Eric (1926-1999), JIM, and others. A collection of original drawings for various fetish publications, including Exotique, United States, 1950s-1960s.
14 drawings, five of which watercolours, the rest pen-and-ink, eight on illustration board, the rest on paper, most c.380 x 260 mm (occasional light wear and light soiling).
ORIGINAL FETISH DRAWINGS, most for Exotique, the early American fetish magazine published between 1955 and 1959. Subjects include female dominance, bondage and cross-dressing. Two drawings are signed Stanton, with a further two attributed to him; another two are unattributed but probably also his work. Two drawings are signed Bilbrew, and one unsigned is attributed to him; the unattributed cross-dressing scene is probably also by Bilbrew.
