A WHITE AND RUSSET JADE PLAQUE
19TH CENTURY
The rectangular plaque is carved with a crane in flight between waves and clouds. The reverse is carved with a four-character inscription in seal script reading he shou qian nian which is a wish for longevity. The stone is of a very pale even tone with one small area of russet inclusion.
