A BRONZE REPOUSSE FIGURE OF BUDDHA
QIANLONG SEVEN-CHARACTER MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795), DA QING QIANLONG NIAN JING ZAO
The figure is seated on a lotus base in dyanasana, with the hands held in bhumisparsamudra. The face has a serene expression and the hair is styled in tight curls above the pendulous earlobes. There is a three character inscription to one side of the base reading Chang Le Fo and several inscriptions in Lanca characters.
