A PAIR OF IRON-RED-DECORATED 'DRAGON' WINE CUPS
TONGZHI SIX-CHARACTER MARKS IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1862-1874)
Each cup is formed with steep rounded sides, rising to a flaring rim and supported on a short foot. The exterior is decorated with two five-clawed dragons chasing flaming pearls between waves and flame scrolls.
